Farm Malizia Amilcare
Among the pleasant hills of Umbria there’s a small holding called “Belvederino”, with a wonderful wiew on Assisi, Subasio mountain and the plains around it.

It’s a family holding where barley, wheat, vines and olives are mainly grown.

Its 7,5 h.a. are subdivided in:

  • 0,40 ha de vines
  • 1,20 ha olive trees
  • 5,30 ha cereals.

Part of the vines are worked in the holding cellar, but most part are sold to another cellar. The olives are given to an external oil, mill and cereals are sold to other private holdings. The vineyard was inplanted in 2007, so to substitute the pre-existentone which was 30 years old.

The environment is particularly good for DOC vines such as Barbera, Ciliegiolo, Grechetto, Malvasia, Sagrantino, Sangiovese, Trebbiano and Verdello.

The holding also has a small olive grove with 200 trees in Assisi and Brufa. The varieties of fruits are the three most grown and known in Umbria, i.e. Moraiolo, Leccino and Frantoio whose melting gives oil its typical flavour.
